Business Roundtable Statement on Senate Passage of Short-Term Continuing Resolution

Washington - Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today released the following statement after Congress approved a 45-day spending bill:

“Business Roundtable applauds the Senate for acting swiftly on legislation to keep the government open while negotiators finalize a year-long agreement. We thank Members of Congress for working together to prevent a shutdown and encourage the House and Senate to pass a long-term spending measure as soon as possible.”
