Since 2002, Business Roundtable has surveyed its membership on a quarterly basis regarding their expectations for the short-term economic outlook. The CEO Economic Outlook Survey results have provided a unique perspective on economic projections based on what CEOs embed in their business plans.
Business Roundtable's CEO Economic Outlook Survey combines the various responses on projected sales, capital spending and employment into an overall index that shows how the CEOs believe the U.S. economy will perform in the months ahead.
The CEOs are also surveyed on their expectations for GDP growth.
