The current economic crisis is a huge challenge to America’s workforce. But when America emerges from the current economic recession, how well will our workforce—and by extension, our nation—be prepared to compete and succeed at home and abroad?

This question is of critical importance to American workers who, more than ever, must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace in order to succeed. To help provide answers, we launched The Springboard Project, a commission of thought-leaders from widely varying backgrounds. The Springboard Project will be developing new ideas to help workers get the information, retraining and on-going education they need.
