Washington – Business Roundtable, representing CEOs of U.S. companies from every sector of the economy, today commended House passage of a bill to reauthorize the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program and urged the President to sign the bill into law.
“By reauthorizing the Trade Adjustment Assistance program, the House of Representatives has made an important investment in workers’ skills and training,” said Tom Linebarger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cummins Inc. and Chair of the Business Roundtable International Engagement Committee. “We urge the President to sign this important trade bill into law without delay.”
