Washington — Business Roundtable today issued the following statement on House approval of a FY 2018 budget resolution with reconciliation instructions on tax reform:

“In adopting this budget today, the House took a critical step that will help move tax reform legislation,” said Joshua Bolten, President & CEO of Business Roundtable. “The Senate must take action to approve its resolution and come together with the House to agree upon reconciliation instructions that will enable Congress to pass pro-growth tax reform. America’s competitiveness, American jobs and wage growth are at stake.”
