Business Roundtable Statement on House Passage of the Student Success Act

Washington – Following House passage of the Student Success Act, Business Roundtable President John Engler released the following statement:

“The House today took an important step toward ensuring all students graduate from high school with the tools necessary to succeed in college and careers, but more needs to be done. We look forward to working with the House and Senate to develop a final bill that we can fully support that gives states the responsibility to intervene when schools and students aren’t performing. All graduates should be able to compete and thrive in today’s global economy.”
