Washington - Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today released a statement after the House passed A Stronger Workforce for America Act:
“Business Roundtable applauds the House for approving A Stronger Workforce for America Act on a strong bipartisan basis. By reauthorizing and modernizing the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, this bill would help equip workers with the skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing economy.
“With nearly 9 million open jobs across the country, improving the cornerstone of the public workforce development system is imperative. We urge the Senate to act swiftly on this bipartisan legislation and put America on the path to building an ever-ready workforce.”
