Business Roundtable Applauds Biden Administration Decision to Rejoin WHO

Washington – Business Roundtable Health and Retirement Committee Chair Arne Sorenson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Marriott International, today issued the following statement on behalf of Business Roundtable in response to the Biden Administration’s decision to reengage with the World Health Organization (WHO):

“We need international cooperation to get the COVID-19 pandemic under control here in America and around the world. Business Roundtable applauds President Biden’s decision to reengage with the WHO to improve the international response to the pandemic and welcomes his commitment to WHO reform to prevent and better respond to future public health crises.”
