Washington - Business Roundtable this evening issued the following statement in support of the year-end COVID-19 relief and government funding deal:
“We applaud congressional leaders for coming together on a bipartisan legislative package to deliver much-needed economic relief to millions of Americans and small businesses and fund the government. In addition to providing relief to small businesses, individuals and families who are continuing to struggle, the COVID package includes important resources to strengthen the public health response and support vaccine distribution and administration, provide assistance for schools and childcare and help bridge the digital divide. We urge a strong bipartisan vote on this necessary legislation.”
