Business Roundtable Applauds Bipartisan Framework on Policing Reform

Washington – Business Roundtable Chairman and President & CEO of Walmart Doug McMillon released the following statement welcoming bipartisan agreement on a framework for policing reform:

“Business Roundtable applauds Senators Scott and Booker and Representative Bass for their leadership and diligent work over many months to reach bipartisan agreement on a framework for policing reform legislation. We are encouraged that good faith negotiations led to a bipartisan outcome and policymakers leading the charge will continue work toward a final bill.

“Policing reform is a top priority for Business Roundtable members, who can be counted among the millions of Americans who want reforms signed into law. We believe Congress can successfully advance bipartisan solutions on policing, and we will do all we can to support their efforts.”
