Business Roundtable Statement on COVID-19 Rescue Legislation

Washington - Business Roundtable issued the following statement on Senate passage of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021:
“The COVID rescue bill passed by the Senate includes needed resources to strengthen the public health response and address short-term, emergency needs of struggling individuals and small businesses.
“While Business Roundtable would have preferred that the bill be substantially more targeted on essential emergency rescue measures, the funding for the public health response and struggling small businesses and individuals is indeed critical to putting our entire country on stronger footing.”
