Business Roundtable Statement on Efforts to Negotiate Resolution of the Boeing-Airbus WTO Dispute

Washington - Business Roundtable Trade and International Committee Chair Lance Fritz, Chairman, President and CEO of Union Pacific, released the following the statement: 

“Business Roundtable welcomes the announcements this week that the U.S., UK and EU have agreed to suspend tariffs and work to negotiate resolution of the longstanding Boeing-Airbus WTO dispute. We support the Biden Administration’s efforts to work with allies to resolve disputes, support rules-based trade and harness trade to defeat COVID-19 and support American jobs and U.S. recovery.”
