Washington, D.C. – Business Roundtable today issued the following statement on the U.S. Senate Budget Committee advancing pro-growth tax reform:

“We applaud the Senate Budget Committee for moving swiftly to advance pro-growth tax reform legislation. While Business Roundtable will continue to work with Congress on specific provisions that will maximize America’s economic growth potential, we urge the full Senate to pass legislation that will increase capital investment, provide higher wages, create more jobs and lift communities across the country. Policymakers clearly understand that our outdated tax code needs to be reformed in order to keep America’s companies globally competitive and positioned to grow jobs and wages here at home.”
