Business Roundtable Statement on Signing of Perkins Act Reauthorization

Washington — Business Roundtable released the following statement from Wes Bush, Chairman and CEO of Northrop Grumman and Chair of the Business Roundtable Education and Workforce Committee, on President Trump signing into law legislation to reauthorize and modernize the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act (Perkins Act): 

“Business Roundtable congratulates the Administration and Congress on this major bipartisan accomplishment – especially Ivanka Trump, Senators Alexander and Murray, and Representatives Foxx, Scott, Thompson and Krishnamoorthi. This legislation is an excellent example of what can be accomplished when leaders in business, government and education come together to expand education and training pathways for the American people.
