Business Roundtable Statement on UAW Strike

Washington - Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today issued the following statement on the United Auto Workers’ (UAW) strike:

“Business Roundtable is deeply concerned about the widespread impact of the UAW strike on the U.S. economy. The repercussions will be felt by workers, businesses and communities beyond the auto industry and will continue to get worse each day that passes.

“With American families facing challenges from persistent inflation and a slowing economy, this strike will only make matters worse. We urge a speedy resolution before the consequences cause broader economic harm.”
