Peter J. Davoren

Peter Davoren is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Turner Construction Company.

Turner is the largest builder in the United States and is ranked as a leader in major market segments of the building construction field. The company’s 12,000 employees complete $20 billion of construction on 1,500 projects each year.

Under Peter’s leadership, Turner is well regarded in diverse building markets in North America and is increasing its presence in next generation advanced technology markets. In addition, the company is growing its enterprise service offerings and expanding its presence in Europe, Asia, and India.

Peter is driving a culture in the company where people benefit from an environment where they can be at their best, be authentic, and be treated with respect and dignity. The people of Turner work every day to eliminate hate and bias from our workplace and the industry.

Peter is committed to supporting communities where the company does business. He is dedicated to improving the economic viability of under-represented business enterprises and expanding opportunities for local minority, women and small-business enterprises through the projects Turner builds.

Peter is Chairman of the ACE Mentor Program which serves to strengthen the talent pipeline in the construction industry. He serves as co-chair and secretary on the AEC Unites board of directors. AEC Unites seeks to inspire, promote, and spur equity and inclusion in the AEC industry for Black talent and Black-owned businesses. Peter is a member of the Business Roundtable.

Peter also serves as Chairman of Flatiron-Dragados in North America.
