Rayna V. Farrell is Deputy Head of Communications for Business Roundtable. In this role Farrell leads strategic communications planning and implementation, oversees the execution of communications initiatives and campaigns, and runs the day-to-day operations of the communications team. Previously Farrell served as Chief of Staff of Public Affairs. 

During her time at the Roundtable, Farrell has led successful campaigns and announcements on significant issues, most notably the association’s updated Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation, passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, COVID-19 relief efforts and passage of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

Prior to joining Business Roundtable, Farrell worked for Mehlman Castagnetti. While with the firm, she helped clients develop winning strategies and build relationships with key policymakers in Congress, the White House, government agencies and regulatory bodies. Farrell got her start in DC working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Cedric L. Richmond.  

Farrell received her B.A. in Political Science and Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and son.
