Rayna V. Farrell is Deputy Head of Communications for Business Roundtable. In this role she is focused on strategic communications planning and implementation, while continuing to oversee the day-to-day operations of the communications team and execution of communications initiatives and campaigns.
Previously Farrell was Chief of Staff of Public Affairs, where she managed day-to-day operations for the Public Affairs team.
During her time at the Roundtable, Farrell has led successful efforts and announcements on significant issues, most notably the association’s updated Statement on the Purpose of a Corporation and passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Prior to joining Business Roundtable, Farrell worked for Mehlman Castagnetti. While with the firm, she helped clients develop winning strategies and build relationships with key policymakers in Congress, the White House, government agencies and regulatory bodies. Farrell got her start in DC working on Capitol Hill for Congressman Cedric L. Richmond.
Farrell received her B.A. in Political Science and Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and son.
