In its news release about Wednesday’s meeting of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, the White House highlighted the contributions of Business Roundtable and other business associations in pledging to increase the number of engineering internships.

He said, “"There is a generic impression that all engineering jobs in this country have been outsourced. In fact, the opposite is true.”
