On September 6, 2011, Business Roundtable brought together budget, legislative and business experts to examine the work of the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction. “Meeting the Challenges of Economic Growth and Deficit Reduction” will offered three in-depth panel discussions. Speakers discussed the committee’s statutory duties, the possibilities of program cuts and entitlement reforms, and the role of tax reform in promoting economic growth and job creation.
