Racial Equity and Justice Business Roundtable Statement on Asian American Day of Action and Day of Healing

Washington – On behalf of the CEO members of Business Roundtable and in recognition of the Asian American Day of Action and Day of Healing, Business Roundtable President & CEO Joshua Bolten released the following statement condemning horrific acts of violence against members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.

“America’s business leaders reaffirm that there is no place for racism and intolerance in our businesses, our communities or our country. We condemn in the strongest possible terms hate and bigotry targeted at our fellow Americans of Asian and Pacific Islander descent.
“The CEOs of Business Roundtable are committed to combating racism and discrimination. We will continue to build our businesses around the principles of equality, trust and respect for all.
“We stand shoulder to shoulder with the AAPI community, and we will continue to do our part to advance racial equity and justice.”
