Business Roundtable Statement on the Passing of Former Vice President Dick Cheney

Washington - Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today released the following statement on the passing of former Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney:

“We join the nation in remembering and honoring the life and legacy of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who served as a Business Roundtable member from 1995-1998. Throughout his decades of public service, he helped guide the nation through some of our greatest challenges.

“I had the privilege of working closely with Vice President Cheney during my time in the Bush-Cheney Administration. He was thoughtful, principled and unfailingly dedicated to America’s strength and security. I will always be grateful for his enduring example of duty, conviction and patriotism.

“Business Roundtable extends its deepest sympathies to Lynne, Liz, Mary and the entire Cheney family.”
