Infrastructure Business Roundtable Urges President Biden, Congress to Continue Efforts on Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework

Jul 21, 2021

Washington – Business Roundtable President & CEO Joshua Bolten today issued the below statement following a procedural vote in the U.S. Senate on the vehicle for the bipartisan infrastructure framework:

“America’s business leaders commend the considerable progress on significant infrastructure investment by the bipartisan group of Senators and the White House. We remain optimistic that legislative text that can be signed into law will soon be introduced to create U.S. jobs, grow the U.S. economy and strengthen America’s global competitiveness. We call on congressional and committee leadership to remain committed to a bipartisan process to send this legislation to the President’s desk before the August recess. Now is the time to finish the job.”
