Business Roundtable Welcomes Bipartisan Deal to End Government Shutdown, Urges Swift Passage

Washington - Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today issued the following statement on the short-term government funding bill:

“Business Roundtable welcomes the bipartisan agreement to reopen the federal government. We urge the Senate and House to swiftly pass this measure to prevent further economic disruption. We also encourage Congress and the Administration to continue working together to agree on legislation that fully funds the government through the remainder of the fiscal year.”
