BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE IS ADVANCING RACIAL EQUITY AND JUSTICE

The CEOs of America’s largest companies are collaborating on public policy solutions and corporate initiatives to advance racial equity and justice.

On June 5, Business Roundtable Chairman Doug McMillon announced the creation of a Special Committee to advance racial equity and justice solutions. The Special Committee is comprised of eight members of the Business Roundtable Board of Directors.

The Special Committee will build on Business Roundtable's work to promote broad economic opportunity and mobility, focusing on public policy solutions and corporate initiatives in the following areas:

Education and Workforce

The quality of and disparities in America’s early childhood and K-12 systems, as well as steps to make higher education and training programs accessible to more people of color.

Health Care

Policies and initiatives that promote better health outcomes in minority communities, addressing social determinants that lead to significant health disparities.

Finance

Access to capital in minority communities, as well as other contributors to persistent income disparity.

Equitable Justice
