Washington — Business Roundtable today welcomed the Administration’s submission to Congress of a draft Statement of Administrative Action on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
“Today’s submission of a draft Statement of Administrative Action is one more step in the right direction toward improving trade, boosting U.S. economic growth and creating more American jobs,” said John Engler, President of Business Roundtable.
“The TPP will generate powerful economic opportunities for American exporters, and we are encouraged by progress toward congressional approval of the agreement. We urge Congress and the Administration to continue working together to approve the TPP this year.”
Earlier this year, Business Roundtable released a plan for stronger economic growth and job creation. For more information on the plan to create greater momentum for America, visit BRT.org/growth.
